  • FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Continuing with our discussion of the Power of Character, here are some words that will certainly give you something to think about:

Responsibility Taking credit, or criticism, for your own actions “If you could kick the person in the pants responsible for most of your trouble, you wouldn't sit for a month.” -Theodore Roosevelt
Initiative Taking action; originating new ideas “If you are not afraid to face the music, you may some day be the leader of the band.” -Unknown
Resiliency Recovering from or adjusting easily to misfortune or change “The spirit of resiliency defeats all trials and tribulations.” -Edmond Mbiaka
Effort Doing your best in an endeavor “A man of words, and not of deeds, is like a garden full of weeds.” -English Proverb
