WHAT IS PAWS?

Mental Health matters! PAWS is a scientifically recognized and proven form of therapeutic service designed to help people cope with various stressors brought on by life. PAWS dogs are trained and certified to provide comfort and support to children and adults who have experienced behavioral, emotional, and developmental issues, mental health conditions, and physical disabilities. The PAWS dog and handler work together as a team to improve people's lives.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE PAWS PROGRAM?

- Certified therapy dog registered with ATD (Alliance of Therapy Dogs)
- Has completed over 200 comfort and emotional support visits
HANDLER BIO:
- Name: Officer S.D. Bennett
- Master peace officer
- Certified mental health officer
- Trained in crisis intervention
