The Houston ISD Principal Academy is a groundbreaking initiative that cultivates exceptional leaders. This unique opportunity offers a comprehensive and immersive experience, enabling principals-in-training to develop the necessary expertise to become effective principals. Led by seasoned educational leaders, the highly selective, year-long residency program prepares  full-time interns to meet the rigorous demands of the principal role in HISD.

The Teacher Leader Academy is a trailblazing initiative designed to build the capacity of teacher leaders across the district. Our goal is to empower and inspire future leaders by equipping them with the tools necessary to step into the next level of leadership.
