Addressing for Intra-District (Campus)
All mail should be addressed with the recipient’s name, department name, and HISD mail route number. Complete employee and departmental names are important for the District Post Office staff to determine who the intended recipient is, due to the similarity of many department names (i.e.‚ Media Center, Media Services, Media Department, Instructional Media Services, etc.). Whenever possible, please include your school/department name in the appropriate area on the district's interdepartmental mail envelopes. These envelopes can be purchased from any of the HISD-approved office supply vendors.
