    Note: Mathematics is an official contest for grades 6-8 statewide. During the 2021-2022 academic school year, HISD's UIL department added mathematics at the elementary level with two divisions,  a 2nd/3rd-grade division, and a 4th/5th-grade division. There are limited resources for elementary math. However, as the program continues, the number of available resources will grow.

  • A+ Math for Students: This video was recorded by Andy Zapata, the individual that writes the A+ mathematics exams.

    Texas Math Mundo YouTube Channel: This is a great channel created by decorated UIL coach Saul Cantu. Although much of his content is applicable to high school, his enthusiasm for math and UIL is worth your time.
