• The HISD Debate League serves between 200-300 students annually in nearly 30 HISD high schools. HISD has enjoyed increasing competitive success in local, state and even national tournaments. Recently, HISD teams placed among the top teams in the state and nation at the UIL CX Debate State Championship in Austin and NAUDL Urban Debate National Championship in Washington D.C.
     
    This site is managed by the UIL Academics Department at HISD.
