We're thrilled to announce the exhilarating conclusion of our 6th and final A+ UIL tournament of the season, held once again at the fantastic venue of Hartman Middle School! Our heartfelt thanks extend to Hartman Middle School and its remarkable staff for their unwavering support and hospitality throughout the event. We couldn't have asked for a better host.
The energy and passion displayed by the 779 students representing 37 schools have once again left us in awe. Each participant brought their unique talents and determination, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of academic excellence that defines our UIL tournaments.
As we wrap up another year of rigorous competition and intellectual growth, it's essential to take a moment to celebrate the journey we've undertaken together. Through countless hours of preparation, teamwork, and sheer dedication, each and every one of you has demonstrated what it truly means to strive for excellence.

We're thrilled to announce the exhilarating culmination of our 5th A+ UIL tournament of the season, held at Hartman Middle School! Our sincere gratitude extends to Hartman Middle School and its dedicated staff for their exceptional support and hospitality throughout the event. Without their cooperation, this successful tournament wouldn't have been possible.
The enthusiasm and commitment displayed by the 736 students representing 39 schools truly showcased immense talent. Among them were 24 elementary schools and 15 middle schools, contributing to the vibrant atmosphere of academic excellence.
As we wrap up this tournament, we're proud to declare the winners as our District Champions. Their hard work and dedication have propelled them to the top. But hold onto your hats because the excitement doesn't stop here! Our journey continues on May 4th with our 2nd District Championship, also to be hosted at Hartman.

We're excited to announce the triumphant conclusion of our 4th A+ UIL tournament of the season, held at Clifton Middle School! With over 700 students representing 35 schools, the event was a testament to the remarkable talent and dedication within our district. A heartfelt thank you to all participants and to Clifton Middle School for their exceptional hospitality!
But the excitement doesn't end there! We still have two more tournaments on the horizon. Mark your calendars for April 13th and May 4th, as we gear up for our district tournaments. These events promise to be the highlight of the year, bringing our academic competitions to a thrilling close.

On Saturday, January 20, 2024, the vibrant spirit of competition converged at Frank Black Middle School as it graciously hosted the 3rd UIL A+ Academics Meet. The school's warm hospitality set the perfect stage for a day filled with intellect and camaraderie. The need to utilize both the cafeteria and auditorium was a testament to the growing enthusiasm for academic engagement this school year.
With over 800 students representing 39 schools in attendance, the event was a resounding success, even as the Saturday morning temperatures dipped below freezing. The competition, however, ignited a blaze of determination and skill among the participants, turning a chilly day into a fiery display of academic prowess.
As we reflect on the accomplishments of the day, we eagerly anticipate the upcoming event scheduled for Saturday, February 17, hosted at the esteemed Clifton Middle School.

Posted by Mark Niles on 10/20/2023 9:30:00 AMOn October 14, 2023, the first A+ UIL Academics event of the 2023-2024 school year was held at Carnegie Vanguard High School. We'd like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Principal Moss and the entire Carnegie staff for their generous hospitality in hosting this remarkable event.
With the participation of 13 elementary schools, boasting a total of 274 students, and 11 middle schools with 250 students, we had a grand total of 524 enthusiastic and talented students in attendance.
However, this event was not just about academic competition. It was also a day when the cosmos treated us to a splendid Solar Eclipse. The celestial spectacle occurred during lunchtime, allowing students, parents, and school staff to witness this awe-inspiring event using eclipse glasses, making it an unforgettable and educational experience for everyone present.
As we look ahead, we are thrilled to announce that our next tournament is scheduled for December 2, and once again, it will be hosted at Carnegie Vanguard High School.
We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the parents, coaches, students, judges, and staff who worked tirelessly to make this event a success. Their dedication and support were instrumental in ensuring the event's success.
