  • HISD Virtual Student Leadership Program Web Banner In response to the unique challenges presented by COVID-19, the focus of HISD's Summer Student Leadership Program will shift from in-person internships within departments to online virtual tutoring services: The HISD Virtual Student Leadership Program.

    The HISD Virtual Virtual Student Leadership Program offers online instruction and lessons to students in need, delivered by student interns.

    Interns participating in the HISD Summer Student Leadership Program will:

    • Attend weekly virtual leadership development workshops.
    • Gain real-world experience.
    • Boost your resume and "test drive" a potential career.
    • Acquire new skills and help a student in need.


    NOTE:
    You must complete steps 1 and 2 to be considered for the HISD Virtual Student Leadership Program.
