TASK CARD: Lockdown browsers for OnTrack secure assessments on Windows, Chromebook, iPad, and Mac

    A lockdown browser discourages cheating.
The requirement of a lockdown browser for an assessment must be enabled by the teacher in OnTrack. Once the lockdown browser is enabled, when a student clicks on an assessment in OnTrack, the lockdown browser will be invoked (opened automatically) in Windows, iPad, and Mac. On Chromebook, the student must first be logged in to the lockdown browser.

Other Task Cards on the Formative Team's Site Task cards (guides) found on the Formative Assessment team web page - OnTrack and Lead4Ward Task Cards.
Check Connectivity to OnTrack The guide at the link has instructions on how to use the trace route command to check connectivity to OnTrack.
Network Operations Center (NOC) Call the NOC if you are experiencing network or power issues - (713) 556-8800. Email NOC@HoustonISD.org
