Principal Advisory Committee

  • One principal from each School Support Officer’s area is chosen to meet with the superintendent once a month during the school year to discuss and provide feedback on proposed initiatives in HISD and raise issues/items regarding schools and communities.

    How to Participate: Members are appointed by the superintendent of schools (or a designee) at the beginning of the school year. Members may be reappointed for up to three years. To be considered, contact your school's School Support Officer (SSO). A list of schools, principals, and telephone numbers can be found in the School Locator.
