Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts

The Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts is a performing and visual arts magnet school and national model for combining arts and academics. The current facility was constructed in 1981. Under the 2012 Bond Program, a new facility was built in downtown Houston near other arts and theatrical venues located in the city’s Theater District on district property that spans a city block.
