Mandarin Immersion Magnet School

The Mandarin Immersion Magnet School opened its new building in the Galleria area in the fall of 2016, replacing the school's former Bellaire location.
The school began enrolling students in the fall of 2012, becoming one of the first in Texas to offer Mandarin language immersion. The school has added grades each year with the goal of becoming a K-8 campus. The new building features brightly colored learning spaces, a commons area and a design based on the themes of the sun and moon.
